Yes I did that. You're lucky. I even called my male coaching teacher as 'Papa'. I mean that day he wore a shirt exactly same as the one my dad has and his haircut is same like my dad. So if you look at him from back them he looked just like my dad (except the fact that my dad have a cute Santa Claus stomach and a bit short heighted and the teacher is tall and fit. I'm talking about the upper portion here, both have almost same shoulder width). I called him Papa when he was scribbling something on the smart board with his back turned towards the students.

As an eleven year old, I had a desire to kiss and hug one of my female teachers cause I felt lonely for maternal affection and I felt ashamed that I felt that way. I did not act on it cause I did not want to get charged with violating boundaries.
I dont think i ever called anyone else mom. My mom was territorial af and reminded you that she was ya only mama 🤣 But i have had others call me mom because i can be bossy/nurturing
I my have accidentally called my sixth grade teacher “Dad” once or twice. No one would have laughed.
