How is it working from home?

To the ones that have had a work from home job or are currently doing so, how do you like it? Do you find yourself missing getting ready and driving to work. Have you gained or lost weight?

Pros:

- Roll out of bed, start working on the sofa

- Own kitchen, own food available

- No traffic

Cons:

- No social interactions, less work communication

- No after-work activities

- Slower work, by whole groups

I don't work from home, but almost everyone I know who does says they're absolutely sick of it.
The main complaint being it's hard to switch into "work mode" and actually get things done

Interesting so it's hard to concentrate? and they become lazy..
I've never had one and it would be a nice break but I also feel like I would go a bit crazy with no interactions

Yeah from what I hear, that's pretty much it. It's hard to stay motivated.
That's another on I hear too, people need human interaction (most people anyway)

But there are some who can do it forever and never get tired of it. I guess it depends on the person 🤷‍♂️

I like it, I work from home and go into the office once a week, unless I have meetings.

That's awesome. I've never had a work from home and would be nice to have a change and to relax a bit. Do you miss social interacting? Or do yuo feel you get enough of it the one day out of the week?

Once a week is enough. What I really like about it, is being able to get some chores done during my lunch hour. I also put something in the crockpot and let it stew all day, so dinner is ready a little after 5. Not to mention, how much I am saving on fuel, oil, etc.

I absolutely do not miss a commute in traffic. I absolutely do not miss douchebag managers walking around like banty roosters. I do get lonely sometimes and also can get in a bad habit of never leaving the house for days. I have gained weight since all the food in the house is available at all times. I love wearing casual clothes every day and being able to get small household chores done during the day.
