what do you all do? and do you all like what you all do? and how long are you all planning on working?☺

I am in the Military and i love it i am planning on staying in the military for another maybe 10 years :)

I'm stuck in a blueprint office printing jobs that nobody needs for 55 hours a week. It pays very little but if I leave, my parents will cut my health insurance, stop my prescriptions, take my car and kick me out on the street.

It's a scam business that gets millions in tax dollars while doing no buildings at all. They pretend to need paper drawings despite there being absolutely no advantage to paper over digital because they need to keep the paper mills in business.

Without paper mills, the trees would be left alone and the government would stop sending funds to the business. They make steel just to dump it all in the ocean to make the government think they're actually building things, and they keep us all nailed to the ground, destroying our physical and mental health while not paying us anywhere near enough to live on our own.

I'm so sick of it, I wish I had just stuck to being a pizza delivery driver 3 years ago and went to the police academy. Now I just want my life to end

I thought that my job is about boat/ship engineering.

But I'm also doing (in this field) a lot of comforting/motivating boss and colleagues, disaster management, kindergarten handling, creating alternative facts, coffee making, customer mis-entertainment and such.

Do I like it? ... Obviously, somewhat yes :)

As I have no faith in governmental retirement promises, I plan to continue until ca. 3 days before my cremation. Which is ok: I wouldn't know what I'd want to do as a ''pensioneer''.

i teach piano lessons to little kids and i love it sm!! i'm planning on continuing doing it at least until i'm done with high school but after that i haven't really decided what job i wanna have. ik i definitely want to go to college and get a degree, I don't know what i want it to be in though. i've been thinking maybe psychology, music, or sports medicine because that stuff is just fascinating to me but i'm interested in lots of things so like i said i haven't really decided yet😂

I currently work as an office administrator at an orthodontist office. I recently graduated as a RDA (registered dental assistant) in December of 2022. I have been looking for an orthodontic dental assisting career but have not had any luck due to no experience. I just want to do Orthodontics because general, perio, oral, and endo is complicated and gross.

I'm still searching for the right title for my profession in English - don't think there is one tbh but I've chosen to work as a care taker/social educator.

I've chosen to work with children with various of disabilies. I just got transferred to my desired institution, while I waited for that transfer I offered my sweat, tears and blood so I'm planning to stay for a while. I love my job - majority of times. 😅

Journalist specifically columnist. I dont really now. I do know I want to keep doing it for a few years and maybe if something new comes up and with a few changes until pension.

On the other hand I try to broaden my field. I got into holding lectures and presentations concerning my field online and I even went to schools working with kids during school project courses. The last things dont make me money, at least not enough to do it for the money, but maybe that could change.

Still figuring out if I want to work part time the first semester of school or not.. depends on my classes. If I do, I’ll be a LMT maybe working once or twice a week.

I am an attorney. I have been practicing law for 37 years and I love my job. I will practice to age 70 and if feel like continuing, I will. My fiancee is 59 years old and will probably retire at age 65, and I don't have much incentive to retire when she is still working.

I was a motor vehicle damage field adjuster/appraiser. I started as a trainee or a great company when I was 26 years old. The salary was really good and the benefits were amazing. I liked working in the field, making my own schedule, driving all over to body shops, salvage yards, and people's homes and businesses, and having time to see and experience lots of things along my travels. And for the last 10 years, I worked out of my home.
I retired with a pension after 30 years.

I babysit doctors.
No I'm serious; that's my job, lol. I'm an Assistant Coordinator for the Residency Program at a local hospital. My job is to keep them organized and sane... no, they don't pay me enough.

Been in this position for almost a year now and I enjoy it!
