Scenerio: you leave your potential kid at the kindergarten and all the teachers are male. What do you do?

Kids are like sponges, they see/hear/absorb everything.. images, sounds, action movements, etc.. i'm sure if it would be something/someone "bad" one of them will tell, always happends even if the others/kids/teachers say : "shhh", so i'll leave it to the kid untill then. Ofcourse i'll keep an eye out, but before that i would ask the kindergarden/school if the teachers are vetted or i would "dig" myself, info/records about them.

In all seriousness, whether some people might argue its sexist, and I guess it is, when it comes to something like this, I'd rather be sexist and be more likely to notice potential issues (potentially saving a child from abuse), than to not be sexist at all and be blind to potential indicators.

Yes I agree.. I have worked at different kindergartens and there is almost never any men. If there is it's like one gay dude out of 10 women. If I came in there and there where 10 masculine men I'm leaving asap🤣.

You may just not realize it but women get away with it more often because they're always just because theyre the nurturing ones. There are times when women do sexual acts to children and children are unaware of what's going on due to their lack of dignity and they are the ones who see children naked most of the time and also most of the babysitters are females so you could just imagine how many of them could be playing with the child's peepee in secret or take pictures with them while there nude specially in today's digital era because those things are just quite hard to catch.

My son's were in kinder and 2nd grade last year. Both their teachers were men and I thought nothing of it. They were great teachers!

you have to trust the school you send your children to otherwise don't send them there. so if i trust the school then i trust the instructors. i teach my children to know boundaries and understand how to communicate when they are uncomfortable... regardless of the sex/gender or the person

If I am sure of the eligibility of these teachers, of course I do not care if they are male... Because professionalism at work is not related to gender. In other hand , if I am not sure of the eligibility, of course I will also have my concerns.

That takes me back to the olden days when soccer balls didn’t exist and giant roly polys were in their place. The small carnivores would often throw and kick them around when they got into a ball and they would usually throwing up mid game. The children would also get scared because they thought the barf was a defense mechanism but the roly polys were jsut nauseous. Anyways, my best friend had a male teacher in first grade when our friendship was born and he was cool.

Most of the best teachers are men. Scientific and engineering fields are almost entirely male, so i'd see it as better odds for an early boost to the kid's knowledge. Other than that I see no difference.

How does one attain a "potential kid". I'd argue most people know if the kid they have is theirs or not. Unless I suppose, you view kindergartens as a supermarket for acquiring kids. If true I have so many more questions.
