What are the most efficient working methods?
-Kind regards. Kyalfeo
I believe at least 20+ hours a week is ideal.
(3 hours per day, 7 days a week. Or squeezed into the weekdays or weekends.)
I’ve heard that from successful entrepreneurs and I can attest to that myself when I was working a full time job (40 hours) while building my side business (20+ hours) to eventually transitioned out of that job so I could be an independent contractor, travel the world, and choose my own hours.
However, if for whatever reason you can’t cut out 20 hours out of your week by waking up early or staying up late, you’ll just have to work with whatever you have.
Even if it’s just an hour a day, that’s better than nothing.
But speed and momentum are really important, so if you can put in more focused hours, that’s even better.
I believe the best method of working is intense concentrated bursts. Whether that be an intense 3-4 hour block of time, followed by a break. Or pushing really hard for 3-4 weeks and then having an easier week.
Intensity and speed is important, but so is rest and recovery. You can actually accomplish more if you strategically implement effective rest and recovery, so it’s important to take breaks for the sake of productivity.
But back to your question, I’d say the ideal number of hours is between 3-16 hours a day. (So that you don’t cut into your 8 hours of sleep.)
But if you don’t have 3 hours you can cut out a day or 20 hours you can cut out a week, just work with what you can.
I’ve heard of a digital artist that practiced 10+ hours every single day for an entire year, and then got hired by Disney.
And I’ve heard of many other similar stories.
Kobe Bryant is another great example. He trained at least 4 times a day, 2 hours per session. And if he wasn’t on the court, he was studying film or SOMETHING. He dedicated every waking hour to perfecting his craft. And he because arguably the best basketball player that ever lived.
So that intense upfront effort and drive is really good to have and/or cultivate, at least until your career or business is off the ground and going well. Then you can cruise if you want to. Or keep pushing.
I wish you the best with whatever you’re pursuing. 💪
Honestly while your young and have the time and build your knowledge you can work insane hours and rack money experience i did 8 years of college to get where I am today I make more money than most I’m not Rich but I could be if I wanted too I could open 2 businesses and clear over 800 or 900 thousand a year but I’m not ready yet and I need to save up for tools and vehicles
Dedication and you have to want it if you have the drive imagine holding earth it’s your playground vast knowledge you just have to grasp it my mom taught me the value of dedication perseverance and drive growing up strongest woman I know no man ever taught me that
I think your career is a lot like your child in a way, in the beginning you work crazy hours with little physical benefit or payment but in the later years, you work only a little and reap big physical and financial benefits.
As long as it takes to complete all the work necessary to be successful!
I think each and every person has their individual method that works for them and maybe not so well for others.
