On my first year of university I didn't do as well as I could because I didn't work hard enough. Most of my work was in the 40s%. Now I'm in my second year and I want to work hard but my brain is telling me "well you've already ruined it last year so what's the point of working hard now cause you won't do as well as you could've". Other people around me say I can still make up for the bad grades I got last year but my brain keeps stopping me literally telling me I've ruined everything.🤷🏻♀️

But I feel like it does matter, cause I want to get into a good (masters/graduate) programme after this cause I want to chance my course and if I don't do well then I can't.
