What motivates you to work hard consistently, even if it difficult and u have to sacrifice your fun? Do u get success?

I don't so consistently when left to my own devices. 😅 I fit the ENFP stereotype:
When I'm entirely left on my own, I have waves of inspiration during which I people would have to tear me away from my work then long periods of procrastination after.
I am very much an extrovert though so when I see my colleagues in person, I get all inspired and motivated to work. They energize me and it also helps me to remember that I'm part of a team and other people are counting on me to do my job. It's a healthy type of pressure for me.
Unfortunately, since the pandemic, I've been working entirely remotely without the frequent overseas business trips where I could meet my colleagues in person. So I've been having to rely on self-discipline to chip away at my work on a daily basis, and I'm very lacking in self-discipline. 😅
Oo that's soo nice. Medical field (MBBS) is difficult yk u have to work consistently, it's difficult. I wanna be a doc lmao and my second year final examination are next month🤦. Lmao less time and more work. lol cool enfp are cool but not INFJ , I'm a INFJ. An introvert and Don't have much friends lmaoo coz I don't like to socialize much. For me close friend circle is best , and they are good and supportive but lmao my expectations are killing me 💀💀🤦fr. But yeah ig u Don't have expectations lol that's good tbh.
I'm self- disciplined but I procrastinate too lmaoo🤣
It's okkie u will learn self-discipline thing not a big deal bro 🤝💯
Cheers! 🤝 Medical field sounds very difficult to me. I'm a software dev by trade just writing code. My wife is also an introvert: INFP in her case. We have to negotiate a bit when it comes to how long we stay at parties. She likes to just go for an hour or two and then relax at home, whereas I'm like, "Parttyyyyy alll night! Woohooooo!"
Lmao yeah that's the problem between extrovert and an introvert. Ofc medical field is really difficult and takes 10 years to become a doctor. After 10 years u have to practice your skills to get a job. But it have so many benefits lmaooo. Like pros are more than cons hahaa that's why students choose medical field but yeah they also choose engineering field too. Engineering is great 😊
I think the medical profession is also so noble. Best luck on your studies!
👍👍✨
My mom is my motivation
Aww great motivation. Same! But their expectations 😅are too high. I don't know if I'm able to achieve or not😅🙂. I want to achieve thatgoal too but it's difficult to work on it consistently. Less time lol so I have to do it. I'm already exhausted lol
I believe God wants us to live purposeful lives and you have to be productive to give your life purpose. Its okay not to work if your retired or sick or disabled or a taking care of kids or cleaning the house all day but if you don' fall into those categories then God wants you to be productive.
for the sake of my own future family
I want to be able to make my kids happy n satisfied in future n make sure im financially secured so I could have more than just 1 child
All the best =)

The thirst for results and excellence drives me. It has driven me to the point that I am unable to enjoy anything unless I haven't worked hard enough for the day. Once you get used to it, things aren't the same anymore.
But that result is far 😶yk.
Far? How much?
My next exam is next month 🤣and the goal which I'm talking about is gonna complete in 6.5 years lol
Exams come and go xD.
What's the goal you're talking about?
Ik lol is it happened with u too lmao ig u are not in college.
U work?😂😂
Well that's a mystery 😌lmao
I'm a university student.
Oo that's great 😊
Try to have a clear end goal in mind and remind yourself of it whenever you feel stressed.
Also don't be afraid to take breaks and step away from your work for awhile. you gotta give your brain time to refresh itself. results prove this is generally is a positive step towards being productive.
I never did. I am more like @GuyAnswersGirls123 … kinda worked best last minute for many years…. Now I try to work ahead mentally … like I need to get it done by blab blab blab… but my best results are the night before.
I do work smart… so it’s not just about books or my job… but do other fun, exciting things that I’m passionate about… perhaps that’s my motivation… and that have pay off.
My ultimate secret is that I can now do around a day's worth of work (relative to others) in about 30 mins. 😅 Yet I still end up falling behind!
@GuyAnswersGirls123 hehehee… it’s all good… same here…
I recall in university…I was going up the escalator…my former professor was going down… he said… (my name)….. I’m still waiting for the report lol…. pointing to his full head of grey/silver hair. I think at the end, he gave me a pass grade.
Think it’s human nature?
I know my ex… is always ahead of everything…just want to get it over with… his favorite term.
That seems a healthier mindset to me, "Let's get this over with!" and start working on something from day one. I'm more like, "Uhh.. I think I need to start actually working on this now."
We all need a little motivation in life & if I put my mind to it & get started I usually finish what I start & if it’s difficult I give it my best & I give it a shot.
I work hard on things I like, so I'm automatically motivated to the point where I need to remind myself to take breaks so I don't overwork myself.
That's great😃
I remember my dreams and this motivates me, I continue to work, I want to build a beautiful future
Yesss true😃
☺️☺️
I usedcto think if I worked hard I would be successful Now I know better.
That's great. I didn't get success. I hope one day!
I'm not the least bit motivated to work hard consistently. I firmly believe in work smarter not harder, and if i'm having to work hard all the time then i need to figure out why that is and fix it.
families...
while I currently don't have my own, the people who work with me have theirs...
that was the biggest motivator during the pandemia...
Knowing that I am on my own and if I want something I need to earn it and bust ass to get it. No one is going to help me do it. I have to do it
For me it's not about motivation, it is more about the need to do it or the survival instinct that I have to work to keep surviving.
You do what you have to do. Your word, your work ethic, your reliability, this is what makes you are good worker or business person.
I want to make my personality and performance better overall and also balance out my health as I go by... I truly try to strike a balance
I love what I do and fear being broke
As I told Tinat, Quiting hurts more.
That one day it will end
I drink water
I'm serious lol
There's no time lol but yeah I have to take a break for 5 min but if I take a break I will procrastinate😶😶😭😭lmfaoooo. Wbu? Have u achieved anything? That u are so proud of. Just asking
