Trending & News I think an accountant. I love crunching numbers. It definitely was a missed calling.
Because at the time I was into the arts. Thought I could beat the odds and get a good job in the major English but that turned out not to be the case.
Indeed. I didn't even think about that but that's a good idea!

Perhaps therapist or maybe physical trainer, or maybe both like a weird combination of physical and mental trainer. I'm not saying that because I'm some picture of perfect physical or mental health (I could always use improvement in both areas) but because they interest me a lot and I really enjoy talking to and working with other people as a general people lover.
Cheers! 🤝It's kind of the same thing from my perspective: physical and mental health. Or at least I see them as interdependent. I've always been very interested in both subjects since I see improving bodily health as interdependent on improving mental health and vice versa.
I also think the fitness industry focuses too much on physical health independent of the mental. There's a view like the body is a machine and just input this many calories and output that many and avoid micro deficiencies and so forth, and voila, we're healthy. Except the real challenge typically is not coming up with a prescription that works but one that an individual will be able to stick to and enjoy for the rest of their lives.
So it's all basically psychology to me: the psychology of eliminating cognitive distortions and negative thinking patterns to overcome depression and anxiety, the psychology of fat loss, the psychology of eating healthier, the psychology of being more active and enjoying the increased energy and strength, etc.
A scientist and researcher in biology. It was my passion and everyone in my school knew I could do it but because of my parents I had to change my stream and now I'm 10 years ahead of that. I can't go back and take it again.
No I can't. And because of that I suffered from 6 years long depression. That was most dark days for me. That was really tough and it has changed me completely. Now I miss my own self Identity that who I'm. But I'm trying to stand up again trying to make my another identity. When those old friends and juniors meet me they get surprised to see me and I have no answer now to tell them why?
i had low self esteem to think i could help people, but here i see people like my advice i should have been a social worker. but at age 48 can't study.
I would have loved conducting a symphony orchestra.
A race car driver.
bridges
design, calculate and build too, yes...
or... a very specialized engineer, yes, lol
Yes , can see that , would be exciting coordinating a large job that was probably going to stand for longer than 100 years , and all the drama that goes with construction.
We had a very famous bridge collapse ( during construction ) in the 70s - Westgate bridge.
Would not wanted to be the guy in charge of that one.
Volcanologist
I've recently become fascinated by the effect volcanoes have had on history: global cooling periods, for example.
