Would my friend's application get declined if I applied for him from another country?

So I have been helping my friend (who lives in another country) to apply for jobs (online) lately since he's so busy but little did I know that a lot of websites can track my location, even though I write all his information including his address (country, city, street), his number, his email, his experience, everything. Would his application get declined if they saw that it's coming from another country? Or do they just focus on the information and CV and ignore the website tracking?

Hmm that's kinda a tricky situation dude. On one hand they'd be seeing your location instead of your friend's when you submit it, which could maybe seem a little suspicious. But at the same time if all the info you're putting is your buddy's stuff like address, phone number, experience etc then they should still be able to tell it's actually for him and not you.

I'd say maybe have your friend call the places after you submit just to clarify in case they have any questions. Or see if he can submit some stuff himself too just so it looks more legit coming from both locations. As long as all the important applicant info is correct for your friend and not you, they probably won't straight up decline it. But calling after could help reassure them it was actually meant for him. Good luck to your pal, hope he finds something good!
