My first job was $17 an hour as a lifeguard at a pool when I was 16 and then I made chief lifeguard and made $21 an hour during the summer on Georgian Bay between 16 and 18.

My 2nd job while going to University was with the Coast Guard. I was on the boats sailing the Great Lakes system installing buoys, painting lighthouses and channel markers ($22/hr). When I was not on the boats I was on call as a frogman (consultant) for search and rescue ($65/hr) and SCUBA diving related work - checking beneath ships for damage and checking underwater cables.

My first job was like 23 an hour or something. In Switzerland anything under that is not really worth working for because the cost of living is high and everybody is making 25+ an hour. If you're in the countryside maybe you can go a bit lower but in the city where I live no way.

I believe it was $2.65/hour. My first ever raise came as a result of a minimum wage increase by the gub’ment. It was a glorious day the first time i got a raise based on my value to my employer! Ell oh ell! I remember losing it to another minimum wage increase too. I was making ten cents more an hour than minimum wage. Then minimum wage went above my hourly pay, but my employer didn’t put the ten cents back on! Greedy f*ckers! Ell oh ell!

My first job was telemarketing, outbound sales. I don't remember exactly yet it was certainly above $15 an hour in AUD. However in USD I'm not sure what to tell you lol. I think per hour and excluding commission, I made about the mid 20s per hour in AUD. 🤑 This was over 5 years ago.

I have been building custom sewer jetting equipment for the past 4 years. I started out as an intern at 15 being paid $8.00 an hour. Over the course of 4 years i have gotten enough raises to be paid $16.00 an hour. Since the age of 16 I've been allowed to work 50 hours a week.

It was a whopping.90/hour. It was at a summer camp. I was kind of a jack of all trades. But on the plus side stuff cost a lot less. Gas was around.30 a gallon, burgers at McDonald's were.15.
