So I travel all over the United States for work, I'm in different cities every day, and I see these billboards advertising the local colleges and universities and I've never once seen one with a young guy on it. The last 50 at least have a graphic of a young woman or no picture at all. It's hard not to come to the realization that young men aren't welcome in academia.

I should add I've been in cities where I've seen multiple billboards for many different local colleges, not one featured the picture of a young man. I'm sure they exist but I haven't found one so far.
This has been the case for decades. It really started in the 1970s, with scholarships just for women, but it really exploded in the 1990s, as you had huge numbers of those 1970s graduates becoming professors and faculty and believing that academia needed to be completely catered to women. Men were forced to take classes on political correctness and gradually more and more CRT/DEI stuff. Under Obama's administration, colleges were allowed to "investigate" claims of sexual harassment and make a ruling with literally zero due process - men were not permitted to provide testimony, question their accusers, or have any representation, while women were immediately provided with a slew of school-funded resources and were completely protected by the school - allowing women to make false accusations knowing the men could do absolutely nothing about them. [Trump reversed this, requiring due process, but Biden has since restored Obama's "believe all women"/no due process rules.]
Women still, despite them being ruled illegal, have lots of Federally-funded "women in STEM" grants that aren't available to men, and yet 78% of women who begin a STEM path in college switch their majors, most changing to some kind of liberal arts because those degrees are far easier to obtain. But men who want to pursue STEM aren't eligible for these grants, despite being far more likely to complete a STEM degree.
Outside of athletics, where males have a better chance of better treatment (mostly football and basketball players), men are largely treated as second class citizens and as defective women, are routinely demonized, told that they are rapists, racists, sexists, homophobes, and responsible for slavery.
There's a very good reason that a large number of men have stopped going to college - they aren't stupid enough to pay a high tuition only to be treated this way. Today, only 40% of graduates are male compared to 60% of women, though men still account for just under 90% of STEM degrees.
White men ARE often rapists (about 98% of rapes, though very few men of ANY race, creed or colour commit s*xual assault), racists, sexists, homophobes and were often slave owners. That said, white men stupidly refuse to join men of colour, who are even more under-represented in academia to demand fairness for EVERYBODY regardless of sex or background, instead opting to aid other white men while disdaining men of non-European backgrounds in their equity battle.
@handsomelad70 White men have no problem with men of color (I'm not white, by the way), but white men are *specifically* targeted and excluded - right in the language of the policies that prevent them from being eligible for grants and programs. In some cases, Asian men are also specifically excluded. Regardless, any and ALL race-based exclusions are RACIST. Just as excluding males in general is sexist. The idea that the solution for past discriminations - whether 50 years ago or 500 years ago - is to discriminate today is WRONG - PERIOD. The RIGHT - and also the LEGAL solution is to not discriminate on those basis AT ALL.
My pointing out examples of very specific discrimination by modern colleges doesn't mean I'm only advocating for them, I'm advocating AGAINST *ALL* such discrimination. ALL such favoritism is corrosive, unproductive, and WRONG. As someone who has hired employees, I had employees from 13 countries and from both genders among 19 workers, and my one "white guy" was a Russian immigrant. I have zero issues with genuine diversity. I have a HUGE problem with discriminatory practices, ESPECIALLY when they are made under the cloak of "being inclusive." That's no different than the KKK doing what they did and pretending they had the moral high ground. Evil is evil.

Academia has accepted, with nary a whisper of objection, the policies of then-Vice President Biden, which mandated colleges and universities abandon presumption of innocence for students accused of sexual assault, under threat of having their federal funding revoked. This, in response to a "campus rape crisis" that didn't actually exist; college women were LESS likely to be raped than any other group of women in their age bracket.
Of course, it DOES happen, and it's awful, but a logical choice would've been something like "all reported cases of rape will immediately be reported to the police", since they can actually investigate more deeply and find the truth- but they're not interested in truth; they want higher conviction rates so it looks like they're doing something to solve a problem, even when that problem doesn't exist. And innocent people are suffering for it.
Objecting at the time would've meant incurring the wrath of both Biden AND Obama, arguably the most sexist President the nation's had in the last century, but both were out of office for four years, and in that time, when Trump's secretary of education was overturning policies that ran roughshod over the Constitution, Academia's response was... vehement opposition.
THAT is a sign that they hate me. Not putting dudes on billboards is comparatively benign.
College advertisements usually pick models based on two factors: relatability and diversity.
If it’s a majority white college, you’re going to see everything but white people on all their pamphlets and adverts to show they’re welcome to everyone even tho mainly white people can afford to go more than other races on average. And most colleges find better responses when they choose women over men. Why? Because women attract more men than men attract women and I imagine a lot of these schools have a 50/50 gender ratio anyway. It doesn’t make much of a difference beyond trying to make themselves look better despite the fact that a majority of college campuses experience an abundance of sexual assaults they cover up when possible.
I'm pretty sure they actually do, in France they shame young guy a lot (in school / academy) say girls are smarter and that boy are usually dumber, not calm enough, fight too much, too violent and generally end up in blue collar job but it's not surprising considering they're all leftist and majority of them are women hating on men and even young children...
I worked with small children from 3 to 10 and the worker were 99 % women, they nearly all hated men and said shit about them and they always scoled the boys for no reasons.
When I have seen a guy on such a sign it has never been a white guy. So academia might just hate white men. Not all men per se.
The courses I have done have been exclusively male because they are STEM, so I have never genuinely thought academia hated me.
In a lot of respects academia is destroying it self by selling less than useful degrees. The only use of Feminist Studies degrees is to teach Feminist Studies.
Academia wants to expand it's market which means enrollment. In order to have a 60% enrollment of females, it means academia has to accept students with an IQ of 95. Lower than average. So academic standards have to drop. Degrees become worth less consequently.
Women are more fashion oriented so they are easier selling targets for academia is another aspect.
I know lots of leftists hate me, and the ones in academia are obviously no different. But having a lot of leftist friends and relatives and having lived in large, leftist cities for most of my life, I know how to deal with them.
Academia is like any other institution dominated by leftists- there is lots of oppression and groupthink where the leftists rule the roost. Avoiding the leftists it is the best strategy for most men, especially where it will cost you a lot of money. STEM disciplines are still worth it, but leftists are coming for them as well.
Let's put it this way: I have never ever seen any institution, product nor service advertised with a photograph of me personally... and I'm glad of that... and when I see random clipart people on their public adverts, I don't give a toss whether they're male, female, white, black, gay, straight, bi, whatever... they're just random strangers. They're random people who hopefully got paid to have their photograph taken so said photograph could be sold on by a clipart company to the marketing departments of other companies.
And it just so happens that what is most popular these days are dark-skinned rakes (skinny girls) in their early 20s with puffy afro hair-dos.
They hate men, white men most of all in academia. A lot of women don't even want to be educated and strong and independent, they would rather find a husband. That's why they have to force it so hard. If they don't give women the most intensives they possibly can they won't even bother.
Not because of the billboards. Most that I've seen around the country instead have the obligatory diverse mix of students looking unrealistically excited about their classes.
This bs had been going on for decades but in the last 10 years higher indoctrination…cough…I meant higher “education” is literally ran inside and out by radical feminists.
At this point I do not care. My business was doing so well that I dropped out of college after freshman year. It is still doing well and growing, so I am unlikely to ever go back to get a degree.
Don't worry, once we get Trump in office we can start changing this stuff. Let's get the ball rolling.

There has literally never been a better time to be a dude on a college campus. It's basically like living at the Playboy Mansion at this point. The ratio is VERY MUCH in your favor!
If you go into modern academia with that attitude, you'll be in front of a sex assault panel/rape tribunal so fast itll make your head spin. Most men aren't touching that with a ten foot pole.
