The English language only ranks 3 among the top languages spoken and therefore is not such a powerful language at all.

In 1st. place comes Mandarin with 1.3 billion speaking it, followed by Spanish with 486 million people and finally, the bronze medal goes to English with 380 million people speaking it.

People always think that English is THE language of the world, which is not the case.

Arabic and Hindi are very close behind and with the population explosion in those 2 areas of the world, English will soon fall back to 5th. position probably in less than 10 years from now.
