I’m a server/bartender. I think the highest tip I’ve received on a single table was about $120.
It was this really cool table with a chill ass family. I was joking and laughing with them all night. We were talking about smoking weed and shit lmaoo. They all just kept handing me more money as they were walking out I miss them 😭😭
The craziest part was they weren’t even supposed to be my table. It was in my coworkers section but she wanted to go home so I took the table. She was mad when I told her lmaooo.
technically I should of received a $150 tip one time but we made a mistake when handling the cash and the server I split the table with walked out with over $100 of MY money. And then claimed they had no idea what I was talking about when I brought it up 😀 so I only walked out with $60 that night.. and when I told management they believed me but essentially said “that’s not our problem”

Highest tip I ever got on a single order was about $52-$59. I do pizza delivery and I came to a house with a $30-something order, the woman tried to pay me with a $100 bill and I had to tell her that I can’t give her change over $20 because that’s all I’m allowed to carry for change purposes on delivery. That’s also part of why we don’t accept $100 bills, we can’t make the change. She got frustrated, told me it was all she had and she was tired and just wanted her pizza, I was about to explain she could call the store and use a credit card over the phone that way when she just handed me the bill and said “Just take it.” I double-checked to make sure she was okay with it, gave her the $20 in change that I had and left with the bill. My boss deposited it in the safe as soon as I got back but that was that.
3500dkr throughout the night from 3 customers sitting together (about $500), think I walked out with roughly 5k that evening.
