What is more important soft skills or hard skills?

Soft skills in the grand scheme of things are more important. There is a saying in education that students don't care how much you (teacher) know, until they know how much you care. So, it doesn't matter if you have a command over the subject matter and instruction, if they think you don't like them and don't care about their success.
