Could I get in legal trouble if I leave my new job without notice?

I got a new job a couple of days ago. I'm not confident in anything I do through out the day. The guy who's been training me is a nice guy, but I just don't feel I have had enough training. I'm a slow learner, and have to be showed something several times before I get it. My boss, was talking to my trainer today. I was standing right there, and he said to my trainer that he wants him on delivery tomorrow, (I work at u hual) and said that he wants me to eventuality learn everything, and take over my trainers job. After that, my trainer and I were standing around because there were no customers, and he told me that they are gonna throw me to the wolves tomorrow, because he won't be there. I'm freaking the fuck out. If I have to do that all by myself, I'm gonna have a breakdown, and walk off the job. I would explain to my employer why, but could I still face legal trouble for that?

I think your anxiety is making this worse than it is, your boss won’t care if you go slow and safe if it means you still get the job done.

Unless there was a written contract specifying any penalty-some highly skilled tech jobs w/ apps under development, which occasionally has =non compete for a year after leaving company- require them; all employment is considered "at will" meaning "either party can walk away
anytime. Don't expect expect a good reference but legally you're fine
