just to be honest this will be a long story.
sorry but i wanted to give as much detail so people can base their answers around it.
i left my old job last march 2023 i was there for 6 years.
after my boss of six years was fired. i had a new boss for only two months before i quit on good terms.
come to find out the new boss was
lying to people who would call asked about me.
saying i did not leave on good terms & i was not able to be rehired by the company.
after i found out i kept emaling the ceo of my old company
one day i made a fake email & pretended a was a job trying to hire myself.
they said i quit before a theft investigation was completed not sure.
ether the new two month store manager or her boss the district manager told the company.
i quit before a theft investigation was completed. because i got them in troblem.
the store manager is no longer with the company for sure & the district manager might be gone from what i heard as well.
i was going to reapply to a open position at the same company but at a diff store location.
could it cause me trouble? if i reapply to teh company

Usually they keep track of stuff like that in the system, but it doesn’t hurt to do so. But most likely you wouldn’t be. If it’s a major company they likely blacklisted you from rehiring especially if a theft was involved, but I’d contact HR and explain the situation before applying to see what they say.
sorry just see this.
i did reach out to HR 8 or so months ago they did not care
Then you should be good!! Congrats!
