Fellow history lovers, which do you find more alluring, 1 BC and back or 1 AD and forward?

When I began my journey 15 years I studied anything with BC at the end of it. It fascinated me deeply then and now, even though I have great admiration for almost everything after 1 AD. There’s just something awwing about 1 BC and back.

We obviously have more information about 1AD-Present, so there's more overall knowledge to study, plus it would seemingly be more relevant to modern day.

1BC-Previous is more mysterious, since, collectively, we have less overall knowlege. Sure, we still know quite a bit, especially about near-BC, but there are less surviving records, and beyond a certain point, our knowlege drops off significantly.

I would have to say the BC-Previous is technically more interesting, less for what we do know, than because of the information we don't. There is a lot of lost and/or yet undiscovered history from that period which would be interesting to learn about.
