As for my first summer job I worked for a maintenance department at the age of fourteen & every summer I worked there until I graduated. In addition I also worked for a restaurant cleaning tables a few nights a week & the one thing I loved about that was that the pay was good & they made me dinner every night. Ribs & chicken & more.

One summer my dad paid me to dig a ditch behind his house/office to put a French drain in, it was 10 foot deep, it was more a way to convince me to go to college.

Not really. Since I was raised on a farm. I bounced around from farm to farm helping the neighboring farms put their harvest away.
Though I was paid less than 2 dollars an hour!
