Is it bad to withdraw a job application?

My company recently opened an internal job vacancy for a senior position. Although I do believe in career progression that position is not something I see myself doing, however, a few weeks ago some of my colleagues mentioned to my manager that I’d be fit for that role and that she should consider me and I ended up applying for it out of pressure and not because I really want to be in that position. After giving some thought and observing my supervisors I felt very discouraged, first this is a position that barely has any applicants because there are not many benefits associated to the position, none of my supervisors seem truly happy with their role, it’s extremely challenging and stressful, there’s not a significant salary increment hence the workload is triple the amount and it includes having to work hours and hours after and before finishing your shift, they also mentioned that this position took a toll in their personal lives and relationships, not to mention that none of them have kids because with the type of job they have is barely possible to have a family. I personally do not think I’m ready to put my job/career above my family especially when we plan to have kids in the next few moths so I decided to withdraw my application. I know my manager is going to be disappointed as she knew I applied for the job but now I’m wondering if this is going to have any negative impact on my job. Is it that bad to withdraw a job application?
