Should there by hybrid private schools?

This lady who opened a smoke/chocolate shop in my hometown area told me a story about how her daughter was being bullied and some kid tried to stick a pencil in her eye.

She wants to take her kid to private school because of how unsafe she feels public schools are becoming to her family. But she also wants her kid to grow up with friends and be able to assimilate with society.

So I've been thinking, what if you could go to a private school but it shares a campus with public school and classes can be mixed.

Maybe your kid goes to a private math class in the 4th grade and takes public math in the 5th grade.

The different rules and codes of conduct would be a challenge for kids but maybe it would prove to be extremely valuable since that's what the real world Is like anyway.

You know what, this was a stupidly worded question because I was mostly thinking about home school and my brain did a skrillex remix of how home schools and private schools work. I apologize for wasting everyone's time.

They have outside organized activities for home school kids, you can join sports or arts or study groups or anything they have in a regular school. Some of the activities are combined with public school kids. You can choose almost any combo you want.

Private schools don't prevent you from having friends and societal assimilation. It's just less likely your friends are within walking distance of you. None of my friends in high school were within walking distance, few were even in the same city (our city and county are separate entities).

And there are bullies in both public and private schools.

I guess I'm thinking about it from more of a curriculum point of view but you're right. I'm thinking that having two separately accountable entities might change the situation. But legally it's probably a nightmare. I wonder how it would all play out.

I don't think this solves the attempted pencil in the eye problem at all. There's still going to be a lot of bullying and bad behavior by the kids if it's not closely monitored, which of course it never is.

If you sent your kid to private school they still have other kids to socialize with. the difference is that they are snobby rich kids.

around 70% of abuse in children... happens at their own home, and it is done by a family member...
