Report them for what? Nothing you described is illegal
Yeah, key word being “almost.” You weren’t and since it didn’t happen, there’s nothing to prosecute
The nature of work sometimes. All a person can do is roll with the punches. I get it though, it sucks when people aren't pulling their weight.
You’re not automatically doomed to be fired, but you do need a strategy.
A few things I’ve learned coaching people through similar situations:
1. Document everything. Dates, times, what happened, witnesses, policies violated.
2. Know the policy. Read your center’s handbook and HR/union procedures for reporting issues and protections from retaliation.
3. Use formal channels. Email HR/compliance, not just verbal complaints.
4. Protect yourself. Save records at home; avoid emotional outbursts.
5. Consider outside options. Labor board, licensing agency, or an attorney if it involves safety, discrimination, or illegality.
If you share more detail, I can be more specific.
