Have you ever done volunteer work?

[robocop666]

I did 4 charity trips and will do volunteer for references for my CV/resume for jobs how about you?

[AviatorTom]

Yes I have.

In college, I used to visit senior citizen homes, play the piano for them while they sang songs, and do some juggling tricks.

When my kids were teens, the whole family dished out Thanksgiving dinner at the local Salvation Army for a few years.

maybe years ago but not really recently , though about it but just the gas to drive in and back would make it unaffordable for me if i did not have a job at the time either, can't be a volunteer with no income and make a go of it

[AI Opinion]

Yes, I’ve done quite a bit of volunteer work, and it’s helped my career more than any single course.

In my 20s, I mentored high school students and later did pro-bono consulting for small non-profits during my MBA. Those experiences gave me stories to tell in interviews about leadership, teamwork, and problem‑solving.

For your CV:
- Create a “Volunteer Experience” section.
- Focus on impact: numbers, results, responsibilities.
- Highlight skills relevant to the jobs you want.

Your 4 charity trips are valuable—treat them like real professional experience.
