Role playing games all follow similar themes in which they emphasize protagonist customization, gradually making your protagonist stronger, open world exploration, deciding who is good/bad, access to a wide variety of equipment (weapons, attire, consumables, misc) and multiple game endings depending on the player’s decisions throughout the game. So far the ones I personally really like are Fallout New Vegas, Elder Scrolls: Skyrim and Fallout 4. Here’s what I normally do in these games
Fallout New Vegas
- Usually make New Vegas independent
- Create an Asian courier protagonist
- Always eradicate the Fiends(anarchists)
- Usually wipe out the legion
- Occasionally wipe out the NCR (New California republic)
- Ocassionally take out Jessup of the great khans
- Befriend Brotherhood of steel
- Befriend followers of apocalypse
- Befriend the boomers
- Befriend Goodsprings
- Befriend Primm
- Use the lucky 38 and the big mountain sink as my home bases
- Make an in game collection of all my favorite weapons, clothes and misc items
- Always befriend Joshua Graham
- Always befriend the think tank and Mobius
- Occasionally befriend Ulysses
- Save all the companions from the Sierra Madre
- Brawl with Lake lurks
- complete all side quests
- Have “intimate relations” with Sarah Weintraub
- My character specializes in hand to hand combat, sneak, melee, repair, lock pick, small arms and survival skills
- Special trait emphasis on strength, agility, endurance and intelligence
Elder scrolls 5 Skyrim:
- Usually play as a Khajiit(cat man)
- occasionally play as a “Asian Nord”
- Specialize in heavy armor, smithing, pickpocket, lockpick, sneak, archery, one handed weapons, block, restoration, conjuration and alteration
- Always side with the Stormcloaks
- Constantly eradicating all of the bandit(Anarchist) camps
- complete all side quests
- Own multiple homes throughout Skyrim
- Marry “Mjoll the lioness”
- Make collections of my favorite in game weapons, armor and misc equipment
- Build my own home with the Hearthfire DLC
- Eradicate all the bandits that occasionally attack my Hearthfire home.
- Become OP with Dragon bone weapons and armor.
- collect Daedric artifacts
- Brawl with frost Trolls
- Brawl with all “brawlable” characters and go undefeated
- side with the Dawnguard
- Become a werewolf
Fallout 4:
- Create a muscular Asian character that looks like me
- Special points go mostly into strength, endurance, agility and intelligence
- Brawling, gunslinging, sneaky, craftsman play style
- Usually side with the Minutemen
- occasionally side with the Brotherhood of steel
- Rarely side with the railroad
- Always eradicate the institute
- Complete all side quests
- Build many thriving, well defended settlements
- Use sanctuary hills as my home base.
- Build a big house in sanctuary hills
- Constantly eradicating raiders(Anarchists) all while playing 1950s music on the pipboy
- Make collections of my favorite weapons, attire and misc items
- Romance Piper
- Brawl with Mirelurk kings
- Brawl with some hostile supermutants
- Make my character cosplay as James Bond by equipping a tux and the Walther PP
- Acquire alien blaster
