Girls, do you really like "Yaoi", if you do, why?

Stereotypically men are assumed to like lesbian adult entertainment but Yaoi which is homoerotic anime (sexual relations between men) is targeted at female audiences and surprisingly there are a lot of females who like Yaoi but why do they like it?

I like it, let me explain why

I personally do but actually prefer bara. It's the same thing, but for gay men instead. It tends to be more realistic and accurately describes homosexual relationships. Like I've seen some hardcore yoai that actually features buttholes lubricating themselves naturally. But the reason I prefer bara over yaoi because the guys tend to be more masculine.

Ehh, it doesn't really arouse me and the plot can sometimes be very tedious (yaoi does seem to be targeted at female viewers and it lacks imagination or realistic characters, they just get reduced to uke / seme stereotypes) but there has been some yaoi that I've enjoyed in the past, yuri can be cute too.

This is one reason I prefer bara over yaoi. I do watch yuri too if it has a good plot

Well I'm a girl and I like to watch it, to me it's just an anime for me to enjoy that's really it, my friend like yuri but I don't like the girl on girl stuff. I don't know why I like yaoi but I do. I don't watch it often though I watch it on occasion.
