Should I use normal or black and white headshots for my musical theatre auditions?

I prefer the colour versions of these particular photos. I think black and white is generally a good option, as they have a classical look to them, but the ones in this set seem a little too high in contrast or something - they lose midrange detail (e. g. your cheeks) compared to the colour images.

When it comes to auditions, you should never use any kind of filters or alter your head shot in anyway, best to leave it authentic and original, good luck by the way

Casting photos should be in color. Black and white isn't a thing anymore. Casting directors need to see skin tone.
