Whats your fave Tommy Lee Jones movie?
#FeelFreeToList #TommyLeeJones
From the options MIB.
But I absolutely loved him in Captain America cause of his savage one liners.
Jones : "I don't expect you to understand that cause you're a showgirl."
Evans : "I think I understand just fine sir."
Jones : "Then go understand it somewhere else."
Or
Evans : *kisses Halley* *looks at Jones*
Jones: "I ain't kissin ya!"
Or his best line
Random hydra soldier : "Cut off one head and two more shall take its place."
Jones : *shoots him* "Let's go find two more!"
Lol he always has the best one liners
I like Tommy Lee Jones. He's been in so many movies and his work is always entertaining. All the movies you mentioned were cool. My wife's friend wrote the screenplay for U. S. Marshals. It was his first screenplay and he got rich.
I also liked him in that Stephen Segal movie, Under Siege, with Gary Busey.
I forgot about Under Siege and wow your friend made an amazing movie
I loved The Fugitive and US Marshall. The Fugitive was the first movie my family owned on DVD when VHS became less common. So for nostaliga's sake, I'd say that one.
I liked Space Cowboys too.
If you liked Fugitive/US Marshall then watch Double Jeop. Basically Fugitive 3
Oh I've seen it! I enjoyed that one too.
Thanks for the MHO
Drama - "In the Valley of Elah"
Comedy - "Hope Springs"
Oh wow haven't seen these

The park is mine (1983) he plays a young Vietnam vet. Who is bothered by how his fellow vets are just forgotten after vietnam. How the country wants to just sweep it under the rug and forget about it like it didn't happen.
So he occupies NYC's Central Park kicks all the citizen's out except one reporter that he uses to get his message across.
Ironically about 25 years later TLJ made another movie called "In the valley of Elah". Which i would classify as an antiwar movie since it took place during the Iraq War. But it was making a good point in the fact that many soldiers are returning from Iraq with psychological damage. And what happens to TLJ's characters son, happens because it's not being recognized like it should be.
Ohh it focuses on ptsd
I loved how he played the STERN GUY, dealing with the cheerleaders in Man of the House!! OMG!! I wish I could see the 'out-takes' when they all broke up laughing!!
He's such a Man's MAN, and being set in a place with teen/college age women, WHAT an amazing part to try to play, and be REAL, and true to character!!
Thanks for mentioning that, I need to watch that one again! :)
Yea i haven't seen it in so long
@DizzyDesii I haven't seen it in a while, and borrowed the DVD from a friend! Watching it now!! LOL!!
So sweet, and cute!! They are just being so nice to him, teaching him about women!! LOL!!
Yea its hilariously adorable
@DizzyDesii If only more women were more like them, and just trying to 'teach' their guys, and show them what they really want, and like, rather than just getting mad, that the guys don't "JUST KNOW'!!
Electric Mist.
TLJ was Al Gore's roomie at Harvard.
I haven't seen that one yet
Of all the movies, why did you pick Tommy Lee Jones' movies? Just curious... I personally liked The Fugitive.
Just one of my fave older actors. Plus i was rewatching US Marshals for like the 14th time in life
Got ya.. He is a very good actor!
I liked the fugitive and Double Jealousy and US Marshalls-in that order
Yes yes yes! For me, its prob Double Jeop then US Marshals then fugitive. But theyre almost all tied. Practically same storyline
Yeah pretty much
Space Cowboy's was pretty good
haven't seen it yet
oh you should definitely see that one
MiB, but he's just great in whatever movie he's in. Probably because he's always the exact same in every movie ^^
Lol yea he and the Rock always play themselves
Double Jeopardy.
https://www.youtube.com/embed/mdxrxbHsWgELove love love that movie. Seen it too many times. I loved Ashley Judd in that and in High Crimes and in Kiss the Girls
It's more like a mini series, but lonesome dove is my favorite film of his. He started along side Robert Duvall as cattle drivers making their way to Nebraska from Texas
Sounds like a western for my pawpaw
Yea my gramp loves em. Only ones i could really get into were modern westerns like Cowboys vs Aliens, Gang of Roses, Bad Girls, Australia, Spirit, Fievel Goes West, Mask of Zorro, Wild Wild West and the Dark Tower
1. Lonesome Dove
2. Double Jeopardy
3. Under Siege
haven't seen the first
It is actually a series. It has Tommy Lee Jones & Robert Duval it is set back in the west I do recommend you watch.
I think you'll love it.
He is good and lots of his movies are too - but if forced to pick one I'd go with The Fugitive :)
Yea love that one
Fugitive was so good. I think the other o like with him is hunted never saw Marshall's if that's fugitive 2 its on my list like now.
Yes Us Marshall is Fugitive 2 and Double Jeopardy is basically Fugitive 3 lol
Yea he's constantly tryna stop people who just wanna prove their innocence lol
I loved Tommy Lee Jones in MIB and MIIB.
He was an EXCELLENT TwoFace in Batman Forever.
Yea i wasn't a fan of any of those but i included em becquse i figured many watched those
No Country For Old Men. Without a doubt. There's not even a second place...
haven't seen it
I think Blown Away was one of his best. As was No Country for Old Men and Lonesome Dove.
I had a hard time finishing Blown Away because i like him as the good guy
Yes, but his acting was superb in that movie.
TLJ is a good actor. Men in Black is a favorite, so is The Fugitive
Surprisingly i wasn't crazy about MIB. But The Fugitive, Double Jeop and US Marshals are my fave. Yet u can't stand how mean he is to the other characters lol
LOL.
That’s a tough one, so many good ones, maybe Us Marshall’s or Men in Black
Men in Black, that's the film when I first knew who he was.
Nice
Im sorry but it men in black hands down 😊
I don't know why i couldnt get into that
No country for old men.
