By far, my favorite horror movie franchise was A Nightmare on Elm Street. And who's the main villain of those movies? Freddy Krueger. And as you can see below, he wears a fedora.I actually liked fedoras because they remind me of Freddy, and how sadistic he was in his movies. I LOVED seeing him torment and dismember his victims after making a good one-liner.
Now I don't own any fedoras, but if I did decide to get one, I don't think I'd be able to wear one without being lumped in the same category as incels.
I'm not an incel. I'm not a white knight. I'm not a Nice Guy. But I'm pretty sure that my favorite hat is ruined because of those crappy men, just like how the name "Karen" has been ruined by idiotic white women.
