Critical thinking skills would be more important than setting the stage for kids to baselessly distrust everything and lead them to conspiracy theories.

They should be taught how to identify authority that is just and unjust. And yes it's important to learn how to question the just in order to keep them just. And to question the unjust in order to hold them accountable.
believe me, i live in a country where questioning authority has been implanted and students are used to punching teachers in the mouth, not to mention that grades have dropped drastically over the years.
When I was little my first grade teacher would bully me for a medical condition I had that gave me horrible rashes on my face and I never questioned it, never thinking a teacher could be a bully towards a student but it happened and that’s why questioning authority to a certain extent is good in my opinion

Yes. I've never seen anything as an authority, to be honest. Nothing in this world has an easy answer, no matter how loud people yell it at you.
That is how I was taught, but it is not in fashion anymore. If you disagree, you are now a domestic terrorist.

They should be taught who to listen to and who not to. And what are signs of trouble.
They should be encouraged to do critical thinking, and if they want to ask to ask politely not rudely.
Yes because they can't be trusted. Having a badge doesn't mean they're good people. Some seriel killers was police man
Erm... if 'authority' means 'those who are abusive' - probably better to avoid them than provide a back they can lash out at.
This is exactly why liberals have sought to control education.
You need to go back to a school because liberals are definitely not controlling education. Teachers are underpaid enough, they honestly don’t care
Oh honey, stop before you really embarrass yourself.
I’m actually in school? You probably haven’t been to school in a while so obviously I’d have a better perspective
Yes and no. Kids need discipline early to learn. But I think we’re taught to be corporate drones instead of entrepreneurs.
Don’t bring cancel culture into this site we don’t neeed your words of hate ,
Absolutely, especially if what they are commanded to do interferes with other's lives.

I do question authority still... and those in "Authority" always react bad... a bunch of cry-babies
Not necessarily. But hopefully they are being led right.
Yes, question everything, but also be based in your questioning.
This could explain why i was always suspended and went to 5 diff highschools back then
question authority? that sounds to me like socio-constructivism or educational marxism
If you never question authority than if a teacher told you to jump off a cliff would you do it?
you are using an absurd argument to support your idea
I’m just saying that a lot of kids get hurt by not questioning authority

Also questioning authority can protect kids from groomers
I don’t agree with violence unless the teachers themselves were being violent physically first and the students are using self defense
ok, but this is not the case here, the students punch the teachers just because they told them to stop talking
Adults should be taught that children are never to be trusted and to kill them as soon as them turn 18
