What were you top MCU Phase films (not including the 4 Avengers films)?

What were your fave films of the saga not including Avengers (1), Age of Ultron (2), Infinity War (3), and Endgame (4)?
WHAT I LIKED—
In no specific order, my 9 faves were Spiderman Far From Home, Spiderman No Way Home, Iron Man 3, Captain America Civil War, Captain America Winter Soldier, The Incredible Hulk, Ant Man, Doctor Strange, and Shang Chi. I’m tempted to see Eternals. And im super ready for Fantastic Four but none will ever compare to the original team with my boo Chris Evans as Human Torch. But im sure anything is better than the horrible remake made after.

WHAT I LOVED ABOUT SOME OF EM—
Far From Home made me dizzy af. Im not big on the whole virtual reality stuff but I enjoyed the scenery. I still can't take little Brokeback Mountain serious as a villain though. No Way Home gave me everything and more. Iron Man 3 gave a diff vibe and was the most I could tolerate of his ego. Civil War was amazing because of Bucky and Black Panther in my opinion. Norton’s film Incredible Hulk was so friggin amazing although I prefer Bana as hulk. Im just not a fan of Ruffalo’s.
I surprisingly enjoyed Ant Man although i’ve never cared for Rudd. Doctor Strange made me dizzy like Far From Home, but the film gave me what Fantastic Beasts 1 lacked. I got serious Hogwarts vibes lmao. Strange annoys me like Tony but just not as much. Lastly, Shang Chi is absoluely one if my faves now. I love that it didn't feel like a marvel superhero film. I watched in amazement and got kickass Jackie Chan and Jet Li vibes. Man i loved it.

WHAT I DID NOT LIKE—
I was not into the Guardians nor Thor’s solo films. I dont really care for Black Widow so i doubt i’ll watch her film. Captain Marvel and Captain America 1 was decent but blah. I hardly remember what happened in Iron Man 1 and Ant Man 2. I really loved the graphics and soundtrack of Black Panther. May Chadwick rip but Suri was the coolest thing in the film. I did not enjoy Iron Man 2 nor Homecoming.

Phase 1: I liked Captain America: The First Avenger (even though many people sleep on it) and The Avengers.

Phase 2: I liked Captain America and the Winter Soldier, Guardians of the Galaxy, and Ant Man.

Phase 3: I liked Avengers Infinity War the best, as well as Avengers Endgame, Captain America Civil War, and Thor Ragnarok.

I never really liked any of the Iron Man solo movies. And I never liked any of the Spider-Man MCU movies, at least not until No Way Home (which was alright, but overrated in my opinion).

The only movies I'd erase from the MCU existence entirely are Captain Marvel, Shang Chi and the Legend of the Seven Rings, and The Eternals. They are all abysmal and should have NEVER existed! At least, if Captain Marvel had to exist, we should've gotten Charlize Theron in the role, as she can actually act and has proven herself a movie heroine before.

Yea i said not including the 4 Avengers films. I liked Captain Americas transformation scene but that was it. Winter Soldier was badass. Thor Ragnarok is the only Thor film that i could give the time of day. That is the one with the wolf and hulk right? Shang Chinwas badass but yea i dont see how it’ll tie in unless he's helping Doc Strange fight someone I don't know. Charlize definitely wouldve been an amazing Marvel

But to start off easy...

I LOVE X-MEN. Born and raised. Ever since the early 90's with the Animated Series on Fox.

But I love seeing, Chris Evans, Jeremy Renner, and Chris Hemsworth, Chadwick Boseman (R. I. P.) play their characters.

I loved seeing the moment in Captain America, when he is getting the procedure done. Where the doctor thinks it's too much for Steve, but he screams out that he "can do it". I got chills.

I loved the Civil War movie, because I remember the comics and what they stood for. Plus it made you think about who is "right" and who is "wrong".

I also loved the Black Panther to see all the technology they had. Especially the suit and it's kinetic energy.

Well like I said... this is a starting point. Tell me what you think.

I’d side with Caps team anyday cause its full of people i like 😂 Black Panthers suite was so badass. My fave scene of the movie was the casino and city escape scene. But i wasn't crazy about the rest of the film.

So I'm assuming we're not including the Disney+ shows, which are 100% part of phase 4, since Hawkeye, Loki and Falcon & The Winter Soldier would totally be on my list (didn't find Wandavision all that interesting). If that's the case, and if we're doing top 9 plus my reasoning?
1: Spiderman: No Way Home (Spiderman was my boyhood hero I LOVED Tobey as a boy... little me came inside seeing all the Spidermen, childhood dreams were realized)
2: Doctor Strange (I LOVED the comics growing up and they translated him fucking PERFECTLY to the screen, honestly until No Way Home, this was easily the best in the entire saga for me)
3: Iron Man (Tony is OG, no Tony, no Avengers)
4: Captain America: Civil War (In my adulthood my hero is Cap, and this was the perfect culmination for his story and the continuation for others plus introducing BP)
5: Captain America: The Winter Soldier (I don't fucking need to defend this movie)
6: Eternals (Honestly I wasn't a fan as a whole but I enjoyed the Jon Snow romance with Sersi and Kro (I can't remember his name exactly) looked A LOT more menacing in this movie than he did in the comics plus their non-interference clause explanation makes sense)
7: Thor: The Dark World (I'm like the one guy who enjoyed this movie from moment one, I hated Ragnarok and all the horseshit it did)
8: Anti-Man (Gotta be honest, I can take or leave this movie but the mini fight scenes were fucking hilarious, this movie was easily one of the funniest I mean... dude, it's Paul Rudd)
9: Spiderman: Homecoming (Just the mere existence of Aaron Davis (the thug with ice cream Peter quickly tries to interrogate) IMMEDIATELY makes the fucking list for me since it indirectly confirms that Myles Morales exists somewhere in the MCU, presumably not spider-bitten yet, and sets the groundwork for Peter's eventual death and the next Spiderman as early as his debut film, fucking Kevin Feige, also... Michael Keaton as Vulture is easily one of the best Spiderman villains of all time on parr with Alfred Molina as Doc Ock and Willem Dafoe as Green Goblin)

Honourable Mentions:
Far From Home: I grew up as a boy watching the old 60s animated Spiderman tv show with my dad (who watched it when he was a boy when it was actually releasing, if you haven't seen it, dude, wtf are you doing? Go NOW) and Mysterio was ALWAYS my favourite villain. So I'd been waiting fucking 22 years to see that shit finally happen and... honestly... I'm kinda divided. Jake Gyllenhaal was fucking PERFECT as the charming, fucked up sociopathic liar and illusionist that we all know Mysterio is but then... he's just using drones? Mysterio in the comics and show was a legitimate sorcerer a la Doctor Strange just for reference and I think they did it to make him less like Strange and more stand as his own man just an average guy but it just kinda feels... cheap. Hence why FFH does not make my list.
Guardians: I own EVERY Guardians of The Galaxy comic and have loved them since I was a boy before they were cool and... the first one was good but the whole time I just found myself asking in my head "I wonder what The Avengers are doing right now?". And then in the sequel I likewise was just thinking the whole time "so this is just bullshit to throw in until Thanos shows up, right?". And, yeah, it was, it REALLY was. Even IW didn't really salvage it for me, they've always just sort of been that side arc to me that I really have next to no interest in.
BP: Is easily one of the best MCU films ever made, the only reason it doesn't make my list is because I never read the comics as a kid so it didn't have the nostalgia behind it to back it up in my head. But objectively? It had one of the best villains of the entire saga that almost made me fucking cry, amazing story, just all around awesome.

Also I haven't seen Shang-Chi yet mostly because I know fucking nothing about Shang-Chi. We're we're finally verging so far into the Marvel Universe that we're hitting superheroes that I've never even fucking read about in my long career as a comic nerd/geek which... is just fucking tear-yankingly amazing to think about.

I only didn't include the shows cause I've only seen the films. I did top 9. You can list as many faces as you wanted. Spiderman was def my fave superhero outside of Superman. I didn't ever take comics seriously. My grandpa just let me Flip through em for time to time so im not a hardcore fan like many. I only know of the movies. I legit never heard of Captain America and the Avengers until their movies came out. I only knew Spiderman and Hulk. I haven't seen Eternals yet but im considering. Thor Ragnarok is about the only film i could give a try. Thats the one with hulk and the wolf right? I didn't like Homecoming. I enjoyed the Vulture but not his corny name. He was badass tho. I wouldn't deem him the best hut he was def better off fighting Tobey cause Tom couldnt handle him. And yea i know thats Miles uncle but Childish Gambino just cannot act to me. So... wait... you watched No Way Home BEFORE watching Loki and Wandavision? Your MCU fan-card is now fucking revoked.
Also Falcon & The Winter Soldier was originally supposed to be a movie bridging the gap between the first Captain America Trilogy featuring Steve Rogers and the Second Trilogy now featuring Sam Wilson (I'm spoilering that he eventually obtains the title but... let's be real, if you saw Endgame you know he's the new Cap).
Hawkeye... if you love Hawkeye at all it's worth it. We're now witnessing the new generation of Avengers replace our original 6.
And yeah, Steve was always one of the Founding Avengers but his debut movie made him into a bitch for some reason. Winter Soldier and Civil War? Dude, he holds down a fucking HELICOPTER in CW. THAT'S Captain America. Plus he's like the ultimate boy scout do-gooder who is forever in love with Peggy and never even got to really have a dance with a girl until Endgame finally happens. He's my man.

I had read The Eternals a bit here and there as a boy well prior to the movie but I'm not overly familiar with them. I think I had such low expectations for the movie though that it ended up elevating it in my eyes 'cause it was pretty good (and introduces a pretty major spoilery MCU element).
Doctor Strange was the ultimate... just, everything was translated so fucking well from comic to screen about him that I literally orgasm like twice per scene.
I don't know what a Childish Gambino is but it should probably not demand very high cheques for future appearances if that's it's idea of creativity.
Thor Ragnarok only had Hulk in it because Marvel didn't have the rights to a stand alone Hulk sequel. Now that they own Fox... that's out the window. Same with X-Men and Fan4stic.

Also fun fact: The Guardians of The Galaxy as depicted in the movies are NOT the original Guardians team from the 70s comics.
The original team actually consisted of Yondu, one Avenger, multiple X-Men, The Silver Surfer and members of the Canadian Avengers (WOOOHOOO We're important!) that I, ironically, can't even remember. I think one of them was Neutron or Stellaris? Can't remember exactly, she had a goofy looking costume.
They were all massacred and as a result the torch passed (as it always does in superhero comics) to the New Guardians, which is our original team (barring Gamora who was a much later addition).

I literally no next to nothing about Shang-Chi comics. I never read him as a kid, was never big on him because, I'm sorry, but I'm not Asian, so it was never a big deal for me. The only reason I even knew the character existed was because his father (and main villain) in the comics was Fu Manchu, which was deemed too racist for the film, and The Mandarin was Iron Man's major villain. Fu Manchu and The Mandarin teamed up during the Ultimate Wars arc against Iron Man but it was a stupid arc to begin with.

Honestly, before the movie the only Eternal I could actually name was Sersi and that's only because Dane Whitman (Black Knight) was her boyfriend and eventual villain. I was curious to see how it would be handled in the movie and ended up loving their romance since it reminds me of my crush and I. Also doesn't hurt that he's played by Jon Snow and... spoiler, two MAJOR MCU property heroes cameo at the very end of the film.
I mean... they had a "The Mandarin" in Iron Man 3 as well and he really did nothing there either. But that was just fuckin' stupid.

The other captive befriended him and told him "Stark don't waste your life". He built the Iron Man suit, fought his way out, went back to U. S. and said Stark Industries would no longer make weapons. He perfected his Iron Man suit and Obadiah, his business partner betrayed him built a bigger suit, stole Tony's chest Arch reactor and tried to kill Pepper. Tony kills him and at press conference says "I am Iron Man".

There’s mention of space stuff but it’s not main stage. It focuses on earth. It follows the eternals who are all 7,000 years old so it flashbacks on their lives across human history. Kind of like Cloud Atlas If you’ve seen that movie. Or maybe even a little like the dr. Strange movie
