because this is one my mother would sing and play on the guitar to make me stop whining during hot summer days when I was a baby, it always worked... she says, and it's also one we did sing and play at my aunt's wedding (which she did, just to prove to me that she knew how to play the guitar)... that time she did cry a little bit but I didn't know why, turns out... singing and playing guitar is something my grandpa would always do for her when she was a child herself so is something she never did again growing up because it would make her too sad but, nowadays is a much happier memory... maybe I should ask her to teach me how to play the guitar... lol

Every single song the ever sang is good. I loved “Fortunate Son “. That may be my favorite. I also like Lynyrd Skynyrd, Molly Hatchet. Black foot , Steppenwolf , .38 Special all the southern fried rock bands. My favorite rock.

Absolutely can not stand Bad Moon Rising because I swear the lyrics sounds like there is a bathroom on the right.  My Father was a Vietnam Vet so "Fortune Son" would be the most likeable.

I was in Nam. You know, there's lots of things you expect in war... Carnage, the sleepless nights... But what they don't prepare you for is the incessant use of "Fortunate Son." I'd hear that song any time I was in a helicopter. Or taking a swift boat deep into the jungle, that song again.

My pen¡s would even play "Fortunate Son" while I was visiting a whorehouse.
