Lars and the real girl. Its kinda a love story but the guy has mental issues where he dates a sex doll and its about him getting over it and being with a real woman. Its actually very heart warming

I usually like action movies, or just cool movies that have a love story within them.
These are some good ones.

I liked the relationship within the movie "Into the Blue" back in the day...

Or the original Transporter movie with Jason Statham & Shu Qi was cool.
The Notebook is unbelievably overrated.
All that illustrates about people who voted for that movie is that they haven't seen many love story movies.
As for a love story movie, "Titanic" is equally overrated although, for an overall movie, it is very good.
So, I voted C.
Better love story movies:
* Love Story
* Somewhere In Time (below)
* The Time-Traveler's Wife
* The Adjustment Bureau
* Away From Her

Here's the thumbnail: An elderly actress shows up at the premiere of a young playwright's new production. The playwright becomes obsessed with her and wills himself back in time 67 years to meet her as a young woman. They're kept apart by her manager, but get one perfect day and night together -- before he gets cruelly pulled back to the present and dies of a broken heart. They reunite in Heaven.
...
When I reached him [Director Jeannot Szwarc] there this summer, he said, "What I loved about Somewhere in Time was that there was very little sex, but there was a lot of love. It was really what the French call l'amour fou, a crazy love. You know, they don't make pictures like that anymore." When I responded, "They weren't making pictures like that in 1980," he laughed and said, "I know."
I mean, geez, the guy dies of a broken heart and reunites with her in Heaven.
You can't beat that!

Casablanca (1943)
The Quiet Man (1952)
The Ghost and Mrs. Muir (1947)
The Leisure Seeker (2018)
Three of the four were obviously made well before my time. But I really like them.
The Quiet Man makes me laugh my ass off. I could watch it and Casablanca over and over. Very well made.
The ones listed, The Notebook, Titanic etc. are extremely un-relatable, so they are not my cup of tea per-say.
I like the more star crossed lovers, relatable, not meant to be, troubled, etc. say in movies like After, After We Collied, After We Fell, etc.
It’s sexy, troubled, keeps you guessing, wanting more, passionate.
Others to mention, Blue Valentine, Candy, All The Bright Places, Words On A Bathroom Wall, 6 Years, Remember Me, Eyes Wide Shut
Dammit, you nailed it on notebook. Around 13 years ago I was trying to "gain access" to a movie from which I don't remember, but got Gosling instead. Goddammit, alright might as well watch it. Wow, what a masterpiece of love, anguish, and delightment that never came across as a chick flick.
I just love your questions!
I secretly love the movie "The Other Sister"
Such a beautiful love story
I like Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind as well as The Princess Bride. Also maybe The Loved Ones (although it's about a very one-sided love):

''love-movies'' are usually too soapy for my taste.
If I MUST pick one, it's perhaps ''When Harry met Sally''?
Made of Honor with Patrick Dempsey and Michelle Monaghan.
An 2006 intalian erotic film called monamour.
I like the actors, acting and the plot.
Can find it in most adult sites.
That looks more like an ass-based movie.
Give it a look then, and write back 🤫
Pride & Prejudice (2005). It has a lot of the funniest parts of the books, and the characters were portrayed extremely well.
Ill go with Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.
