Why would SOME albums be suddenly removed from Spotify while other albums by the same artist and same label stay on?

I've previously read that some releases are being removed because of licensing issues or whatever - but now some artists have SOME of their records removed while others stay on, all under the same label. Any ideas?

It could be that they may not want their content on Spotify, or the contract expired, or there’s a copyright issue… there are a lot of factors.

I get that, but then why remove some and keep some on?
