What do you think of Leonardo DiCaprio?

Those among us who are as old or older than I am probably remember Leonardo DiCaprio not exactly having a favourable start to his career in terms of connecting with the male audience.

I remember he played a retarded kid in a movie with Johnny Depp (perhaps a malicious attempt by Depp to hold him down having recognized Leo's talent). Not long after that, DiCaprio starred in one of, if not the most drawn out, excruciatingly romantic movies of all time - Titanic.

In the wake of that film, circa 1997/98, to be male and admit being a Leonardo DiCaprio fan was to bring ones sexual orientation into doubt. However, since that time I believe Leonardo DiCaprio has been the star of some of the coolest and best movies of all time which are solid bloke movies. Films like Shutter island, The Depahted and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood come to mind.

I think Leo has well and truly discarded the heart throb, pretty boy image he began with and has now actually become one of the go to A listers for the male audience. Would you agree?

I agree. I used to be an huge fan of Leonardo DiCaprio when I was a child. At that time I had dreams of dating someone who looked like him, I was so naïve 😂😂🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️
He's a great actor and whenever I watch him I feel that he's really into the character.

Yeah I think he turned out pretty good, the first movie I remember him in was the same as you, something about What’s eating Gilbert Grape , back in 1993 , I think I’ve seen most of his movies tooo

I liked Basketball Diaries as a teenager, and the soundtrack to Romeo & Juliet was popular so eventually I got into the movie. Catch Me If You Can is a cool movie too.
He's made so many movies, I usually like 1 out if every 3 he puts out.
