u I agree with the concept but it really begs the question. Whether something would be more attractive by adding or subtracting from it is a subjective evaluation so we really are not any closer to defining beauty in an objective way. And if it remains defined in purely subjective terms, then it is like pornography: I can't define it but I know it when I see it!

Yes, but that's pretty rare, if not impossible, as different cultures and individuals define beauty in a different way, so what's beautiful to someone, might not be beautiful to someone else
That's pretty deep. It describes perfection more than beauty though but I like it. What do you think about that?
