How can I tell my nerdy mom I don't care for videogames, comic books and Marvel movies without hurting her feelings?

I don't judge her for liking that stuff but I find it boring and she always tries to get me into it and buys me videogames or comic book stuff.

I tried telling her that, but she says I still haven't found what I like and to give a new comic or series or game a try. But I find all that cringeworthy and never wear the shirts she buys me or keep superheroes paraphernalia in my room.

I don't want to be judgmental but I do find all that stuff childish. She's wonderful don't get me wrong, but I could not care less about Star Wars XVVII or super Spiderman

She is trying to have some common ground with her kid. A good parent will understand if you don't like the same stuff as them. If my kids like the same hobbies as me cool. If not I'm never going to force it. Just talk to her about it.
