Am I a child too?

Hello, I'm 32 years old, I really love children's animation and cartoons, and I take a lot of things as a joke. I love boys' cartoon characters.

My family tells me when will you grow up? You are a child, you are ignorant.

Although I am a child, I have never been stupid, because I am a programmer, I have reason.

I never fell in love with a real person and never got married, after work and life I think about the cartoon character I fell in love with even during work.

I'm totally confused, help me, I don't know what to do please!

The problem is that people call those that can't get a place of their own and those that like cartoons both as childish. If you have your own place and can provide for yourself through your job, be as childish as you want.

Not everyone likes socializing with others, and that's fine. As long as you can separate reality and the world of cartoons, comics and the imaginary, that's fine.

Have the hobbies you want, live the life you want. Remember that sometimes you need to act your age, and it's more acceptable to have your hobbies with others who are also adults.

It’s easier to live in fantasy especially in today’s technological advances. The realities of life can not be repressed and avoided. I don’t like them either. Your awakening is going to be in desperation. —I’ve seen it from 33 corporate who married a nice 34,000 guy-artist with 21 year old lifestyle…. And now she has realized she can not have children…who is going to cover the house and triplex rental without her 65 hours a week hustle in hopes of global staff level. Her experience is bombarded in Reality whereas yours is more fantastic in nature.

You might have a bit of the female Peter Pan syndrome (which is actually quite fitting, because although the fictional character was male, the actors who have played him were usually female.) You live in a fantasy world as much as you can, because escape is a great way to... escape, for many. When reality is unfulfilling, they think, why not?

As long as you aren't immature or something it's not really a problem. Some people are just more bright or children at heart and there's nothing wrong with that. Being a child at heart means you just have a more innocent and bright outlook on the world.

It is not a bad thing. But it can be misused by others and it makes the person to be very vulnerable. That is very bad. It makes them to feel like outcasts

That is not in the nature of these type of people. They want hassle free lives. It is not that they are timid tho. They don't want anything to bother with their sanity. As they get tense very easily

Na. Japanese animation is made you adults. Most adult men like something that generally is perceived as being childish by some. Comics, video games, cartoons, etc. Being an adult is simply knowing what are priorities and what is not. If you are taking care of all the necessary things in life, then who cares?

Thats pretty shallow from your family, if I'd show you statistics you'd see lots of adults watching cartoons. Hell even look at Disneyland (the real life cartoon world) you'll find more adults than kids, and I dont mean parents. Also look at the comic, manga, anime conventions, you'll see mostly just adults.

Its good to feel young its bitter and e. barrassing to say "grow up and be a boring adult with no personality"

If it makes you happy then you should go with what makes you happy. If people are so narrow minded that they can’t expand their lives and enjoy what life has to offer and the people in your life that ask when will you grow up? Should see that this is something that makes you happy and understands and accepts that is something you like and stop trying to change you.

a person's behavior and feelings are highly dependent on childhood background. Sometimes effect of childhood can be very strong on whole life. Itsnot being a child. Its only childhood is playing on the background.

Don't try to ignore them, it will make things worse. Just do what you like, yet pretend like you listen to them.
