What celeb you like watching on TV, do you think the entertainment business do not give them enough credit?

There are many celebs out there who had been on TV and movie roles for many years, but the entertainment business had not given them enough credit, even if they had been on the business for more than 15 years and still they are struggling to be more recognized or respectful and the business give credit to maybe some who really do not deserve and have less time on the business.

One example but I have many fav actors who I believe the business should at least give them a little more credit.

Christian Slater. He was many years ago a popular movie star and starred with many big names, time went by and he was like soon forgotten and big movie studios never really call him again for the big screen and under his resume he has more than 15 movies (movies where had star with popular actors as well) but most of those movies had been B movies and had gone straight to video not on the big movie screen, and he is a very talented actor. He is now like 52 years old, I guess too old for Hollywood standards at this moment to get hired again to star in big screen movie roles.

I think Nicholas Cage is underappreciated, both in and out of Hollywood. Many of his movies are awful, no question, but I've seen most of them, and so far as I can tell the man has NEVER phoned it in- everything he's ever done, he dives in wholeheartedly. Now, that wouldn't work with something like Deathstalker, where the actors know how stupid the idea is, and that's part of the joke, but very few actors could've pulled off the wild mood whiplashes of Lord of War (a fantastic, though incredibly depressing, movie) like he did. And he KNOWS that his approach wouldn't work for some shoots, and he doesn't take those roles (to be fair, it may be that he doesn't get offered them).

Yes Nicholas Cage is agood actor one under appreciated as many other tv or movie stars. Like the one I mention Christian Slater he has more than 10 movies but all of them are gone straight to the video collection, nothing on the big screen anymore. I do wonder why. I guess as the time goes by there are new stars and y oung stars raising in Hollywood and that is what it counts in Hollyweird hehe!!. But there are others who still are super famous and popular now and all of their movies on the big screen really suck. E. G. Jennifer Lopez. I have a fav male tv star who is 50yrs old, is the first time he has done a TV show where he had been the lead role for 5 sesons and 6 coming up soon. I mean it took like 25 years for the studios to take the guy into account to hire him for a cop procedural where he is now more successful than his previous tv past roles. where he had been in one episodes, recurring episodes, but that was all he was in his previous jobs, when he was younger. In fact this TV guy had been like in 29 tv shows where he was cast for one episode in one season or 2 episodes or 5 episodes or more than 8 episodes. Then he was the lead role in 2 shows for the entire season but the shows were cancelled like 2 seasons later and he had been like in 23 movies but low budget ones and not very successful. So the actor had been in the businesss for about 25 years but not huge success for him. Until now with 50 years old he is a in a successful broadcast TV show heading now for 6th season and him as the lead role. So tell me how is that possible this guy had not been given enough credit.
