Do you believe paparazzis have the right to take photos of the celebs in public even on their days off?

For instance when they are doing errands, eating at restaurants and then after done eating they are caught in the sidewalk walking perhap or walking at the airport, etc those situations that even if they are on days off, the place is public. I mean the photos are not taken inside the celebs home or over a fence cause that is a total invasion of privacy of course, but are taken in a public place but on the celebs days off perhaps.

Do celebs have the right to be upset if photos are stil taken this way in public or sorry, it is part of both jobs (the celebs for being public figures, taht is the downsize of the career they chosen for a living, they know that is part of their profession so they have to put up with this but they need exposure, so they have to put up with the moment and ignore people taking photos or that is a photographer job as well). Like I said it can be somewhat private or personal photos but taken in public places with other ordinary people in their surroundings, or they better live in seclusion or being hermit the rest of their lives in theri houses (celebs) and never go out to do normal stuff other people do.

That would suck being a celebrity and knowing that whenever you went outside, you could be subject to having your photo taken and put into print somewhere. I remember Michael Jackson saying that he wished he could simply just go to the store some day without drawing a crowd. And reading about Elvis Presley, he faced the same thing.

Some can keep a low profile and get away with it. I used to know a lady who went shopping in an upscale part of Los Angeles, and saw Cher go into a dress shop with a body guard. She went in and pretended to shop, and walked by her and said, "I love your work." She said that she smiled at her.

They are celebrities. Their fans want to know what they do, were they eat, where they vacation. They also like to know where they go on their vacations. What do they do during their vacations. Do they like to go to the mountains. Or do they go to the beaches. Even more spicy they want to know who they have sex with. Yes celebrities have a right to their privacy. But they also stir the pot by getting the attention of the paparazzi. If the celebrities do not want to be bothered move to an area where nobody knows you. It's far away from the paparazzi.

That is a wise comment But since the filming industry is based mainly in California, that is what most celebs live and the media and press there is all over them 24/7 , so they are more prone to find paps and phtographers on any venue in the Los Angeles area even on their days off.

Yes they have the right to be upset, like imagine doing everything with an eye on you, you won't be comfortable. They ain't any god, they are humans who have such jobs.

If the paparazzi did not take all those photos, the celebrities would feel ignored. They expect their photos to keep appearing in front of the public as it helps them maintain their popularity and earning potential.

Anyone in public gives up their right of privacy. The problem is that pictures of celebrities are almost always desired by the public, so paparazzi go out of their way to take pictures and sell them.

I think legally they have the right but they shouldn’t. Celebs are entitled to privacy too.

I agree but some celebs still think they are entitled to their privacy like the rest of the "mortal and ordinary " people. Whichg I do agree sure they have the right to be private and not share everything to the media, but when phtoso of them are taken on days off or vacations in public places is it stil invasion of privacy?
