What are your thoughts on the TASM2 romance plot? I was confused by it, and am critical. Can you share your thoughts and/or help me with my questions?

Why isn't there a nuance to captain dying words? He said to leave her out of it, he didn't say to not be there for her or to break up with her specifically. I interpret that is to keep her out of the superhero work and not have her help him fight villains even though she likes to help him because she is a scientist and smart. The second movie kinda denies Gwen autonomy, kinda makes Peter look like he's making the right choice but also like a anxious wreck who should calm down and just be with Gwen and just shake off her fathers words because "its not his choice." Gwen almost brings open a nuanced dialogue, but they dont touch on it after that. Gwen in the beginning of the film is important to the plot as showing to keep on believing in hope even when you dont see any. That was a great part but I dont want her to just be a tragic exposition point. Peter Parker breaks up with Gwen because he feels guilty when he was suppoesd to hang out with her and her family and she gets upst and angry and is like I break up with you youve done this to me again and again and again. So is peter supposed to be seen as being mean here? Or an anxious wreck? Or making the right choice? Its not explained. Despite this they seem to get along at oscorp. Then Gwen is brought back into Peters life and they bond as friends again and she seems less angry. Then Gwen says she's leaving and that maybe were on different paths I dont know but then he's like nah were not on different paths your my path and I initially rooted for them like heck yeah cool part romeo and juliet stuff going on. I ship them even though I know what comes next. Spider-Man tries to keep her out of the action by webbing her to a cop car. Is this supposed to be funny? This link to the gwen being denied of autonomy criticism I explained earlier. And then Gwen comes in anyway and helps Spider-Man defeat Electro. Then Goblin kills her. He quits then a kid standing up to rhino was cool but it doesn't make full sense make that kid miles morales so he got bitten by a radioactive oscorp super spider and has super healing after going on a field trip to oscorp and thats why he's so brave that kid should have been Miles Morales, to set up more spiderman movies after Andrew is done and no more sequels. But anyway what was the point of this? Is he not supposed to have a girlfriend now? IS he "responsible" for her death?

Is he not supposed to have a girlfriend now? IS he "responsible" for her death? Was he right to be with her? This movie doesn't explain I just have my own opinions which I feel will be controversial and I dont share with much people.
