This line from Braveheart always gets me because Robert the Bruce's character is a good man, but sometimes we take the easy way rather then standing by our principles. Robert the Bruce doesn't want to lose his throne by challenging the English. But It's a King's duty to do what's best for his people. You may retain your throne and you title but you lose your honor if you do not. He betrays William Wallace, but he feels so ashamed by it at the end he leads the Scott's against the English and defeats the English. This movie may be rife with historical innaccuries😆, but it's still such a beautiful story.

There's also a line from the movie Robinhood: Prince of thieves from Robinhood, played by Kevin Costner that I couldn't find a clip for. But Robinhood is talking about essentially the value of commoners vs. Nobles. Having fought in the crusades he said "I've seen knight's get spooked at the first sign of battle". "And I've seen the lowest squires pull an arrow from thier body to defend a dying horse". Then he quotes his father who said "nobility is not a birthright, it's defined by one's actions".
