Which piano piece sounds better?

Both the pieces by my favourite Italian pianist. I have learnt the original version of Nuvole Bianche perfectly but I was wondering which one would be better to perform on stage for music competition? For 'Experience' I don't have a violinist, it's solo performance.

This is the original piece of 'Experience'. It's mind-blowing with violin and stuff but I'm worried about it a little since it may sound bland with only the piano because you can hear violin is overpowering in the orginal piece.

yeah the first one sounds so melancholic i like that one more.

2nd one is good too, has a bit more of a melody and rhythm to it.

I like the first piece better, but prefer the piano tone of the second.

Yes because the second one is a pure piano pieces while the first is along with violin.

I notice that the average person tends to prefer hearing faster & more aggressive stage piano performances with more arpeggios in it. Like a very virtuosic & showy way of playing. So, if these two were my only options, I'd go with the first one if I were trying to impress &/or compete.

First one is great but the problem here is, the competition is solo. The first one will sound a bit plain without the violin, infact in the original piece the violin is overpowering. I won't have a violin accompaniment. Considering the fact that you can only hear the piano music of the first piece and the second, which one is better?

I still like the first one. But I am kinda biased because I've heard both many times before & love the first one the most. 🤣
