So they have the technology to travel faster than the speed of light, teleport, communicate with previously unknown alien species as if speaking English, fabricate a cure to an alien virus with minimal equipment, and create a wheelchair operated by brainwaves. But they couldn’t come up with a way for a guy who is clearly still neurologically intact to communicate other than a little flashing light?
