Hi, some days ago i've posted a poll about best drummers ever, i've showed some options, as the following ones:
Mike Terrana (Axel Rudi Pell)
Mike Portnoy (Dream Theater)
Thomas Lang (Stork)
Joey Jordison (Slipknot)
Daniel Luttick (Synthetic Breed)
Mike Mangini (Dream Theater)
Matt McGuire (Chainsmokers)
Tony Roister
Daniel Erlandsson (Arch Enemy)
Dave Lombardo (Slayer)
But some people says name as Neil Peart or Ringo Star
Now i want to know what features are you evaluating?
Cause im considering technique and speed mostly, if you think Neil Peart or Ringo Star have more technique and speed then the drummers that i wrote, there are two possibilities, you are blind and deaf or you are just joking me
If you know something about human genetic you should know that in each activity human skills improve over time, same for the music, you can't compare drummers of many years ago to the newer great drummers, even if you check on youtube thare are kids who can play Neil Peart and Ringo Star lines easily, im a person who listened more than thousand discographies of each genre, and i think the best drummers are in fusion music, progressive metal, speed metal, and jazz.
I think people vote with heart and not with brain, and other people suffer from lack of consideration and want to give a different opinion in each thing
