Most people that live in the town I'm in. People around here don't even know what books are! Some guy one day comes into the library and sees me reading and asks "What is that?" and I said, "A book." And he said, "Why are you reading a book? Reading is stupid." And I muttered under my breath, "So are you, but I guess people like you are always the last to know." Stupid people!

Then there's the sex offenders. They're everywhere here! They will sit in front of the high school before school is out and watch the students walk out, and snap pictures. One guy even went around town following this sixteen-year-old. The girl's father went to every business, causing a ruckus over it!

And then there's the drug dealers. They will sell to anyone! A 15-year-old girl overdosed the other day, but of course, that happens at least twice a week here.

I swear when I make enough money to move out of this town, I'm writing a book and exposing the drug dealers, the morons, and the corrupt cops on the take!

@Alli39 oh yeah, this place is so crazy. It used to be a busy town but after it went broke, people stopped caring and drug dealers decided it would be a nice place to sell drugs since no one cares.

yeah, they guy asking about the book, I'm not sure myself if they guy was being serious. Sure did seem like it, lol. And then after he said reading is stupid, he starting ranting about how you can get just as educated from people on the street. I fear for society!

The sex offenders come here because there's plenty of abandoned houses they can squat in. They probably couldn't get public housing with their record. The ones that do have a place to live, I get 2 or 3 of those cards a week, the ones where they notify you that a sex offender moved into town. The last town I lived in, I seen one in the mailbox maybe once a year.

And the cops here are all on the drug dealers payroll. This place is where lost souls come to die, lol.
