What do you think about Beyonce's country songs?

Beyonce announced her new country album coming out next month. She released two singles already.

The theory is there will be 3 acts of the Renaissance series and each one will be a genre that originated from black artists. So the first one was house music, this one is country, and the last will probably be rock

unfortunately I don’t like country music…I’ll give it a chance cause it’s Beyonce. But I don’t like the singles and I doubt I’ll like the rest of the album.

So someone lemme know when the rock album is out lol

If these Pop Singers can drop a Rap or R&B Album out of nowhere and say "Music is for everyone."

Carriage sounds good but i wouldn't consider it country (even if she's calling it that). Its giving r&b to me. But i missed r&b beyonce honestly. Not too crazy about all that pop rock shit she was doing. I love all genres but for beyonce, she need to stick to one. Texas Holdem sounds cringe. Good flow but that instrumental ruining it for me. JayZ must think this will appeal to the ones who vote for “best album” lol…

She's about as country as I'm an airplane. For a genre that talks about legitimacy so much, to include making fun of people who wear cowboy boots and work in an office, I can't imagine this going over any better than a turd in a punchbowl.

I wear a cowboy hat and occasionally boots, a Wranglers shirt and jeans and am trying to get a cowboy belt buckle. I'll bet I'd sound legitimately Country if I sang, because despite being a black Canadian boy, I was once told my voice sounded like someone who could sing Southern rock.

Charley Pride, (who was black) was a TRUE country singer. Beyonce IS NOT and never will be. In addition, bleaching your hair blonde and wearing a cowgirl hat doesn't make it so.
