Will Disney go through another renaissance that's on par of the 1989-1999 period?

I'm re-watching Disney movies once again, and I grew up watching The Little Mermaid, Tarzan, Beauty and the Beast, and The Lion King (another favorite). I also love the Silver Age of Disney with Cinderella, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, et cetera.

But I wonder if Disney will go through another Renaissance period that is on par with or equal to the time period from 1989 to 1999. It's well known that The Little Mermaid saved the franchise and kicked off a new era. I just wonder: will we ever go through the magic age of Disney animation?

I wouldn't bet on it. Ordinarily, I'd just say "not any time soon"- there's a LOT more future than past, after all- but I doubt the company will be around much longer, at least in its current form.

Highly doubtful if they keep going down the path they are, but it's not impossible.. They could become dedicated to storytelling again, and make some new groundbreaking animation style.. But, it seems as if that won't happen anytime soon.. The corporate slobs won't let film makers and writers tell stories anymore..

It's very unlikely considering the company's current commitment to hiring based on race and other categories rather than on ability to do animation.

Until there is a cure for cancer and they thaw out Walt Disney and bring him back to life and he puts a stop to all this woke crap that his company is cranking out, there will bo no renessannce.

It's hard to see a comeback from Disney. The fish rots from the head but even firing Bob Iger wouldn't fix Disney now. They have too many "diversity hires" at every level of the organisation.
