Do you think Dune Part 2 is good?

Only answer the pollif you've seen it of course. I watched it and I liked it but many reviewers hyped this movie up way too much. Personally I think the quality of the movie stayed consisent from the first to the second one. I really liked the first part and I like the second one too. But some reviewers said the second part was waaaaaay better I don't think so. I think people just didn't really appreciate the first movie enough or just don't like the build up that is always needed in a story etc. The second movie was just as goo as I expected it to be when I finished the first movie. I expected it to continue and it did. But the reviewers made me think I should expect even more but there wasn't more so now even though it was really good I feel like they screwed up my experience a bit.

But it's ok I still enjoyed it and I'm looking forward to part 3

Usual story with Hollywood. Once they see they've a winner they start to deviate from the established story and rewrite their own full of woke nonsense

Yeah but they tried to adapt dune 20 times already and this is the first one thats actually good and making money.

They made an iconic 80s movie but the effects of the period were limited, the TV series were also good.
What I'm saying is that the first of this series has been well made and successful but it looks like the 2nd installment may have been interfered with kind of like what happened to the witcher.

True I like the way they brought the world to life a lot. But I saw that in the first movie already. I think the second one way good but my expectations were a bit too high because of all the hype and because it's the only movie in the whole year that I'm looking forward too.
