Very true. Most people have sides to themselves that they don’t show to many, often out of fear of being shamed or told off if it’s a taboo subject or if they’re being racist, homophobic, etc. But give them something to hide behind, whether it’s a screen or not, and they will tell their true thoughts on subjects, or they will show sides of themselves that you wouldn’t have seen otherwise.
I’m guilty of this too. I’m much more open about things on here than I am lRL.

I totally agree with the quote. There are many situations in which you can see people WHO often stick to a neutral standpoint not wanting to get on the bad side of others and cause themselves problems. However, when they use an anonymous account on social media they suddenly have an opinion which turns out to be different from their passive one.
