there's a FEW songs that I prefer very much so as the tribute version compared to the original and I am sure that a FEW will feel quite offended with this but here goes anyway, lmao

Tribute as in covers yes. Good better eversthing is possible. It can also inspire new people to look at the original. It can also be just bad sadly.
