They are OK. I used to do them sometimes. Now my eyes can't handle it. The last one I tried to do was at least ten years ago. It freaked out my eyes too much. It gave me eye strain and headaches, so I quit doing it.

My SO and I occasionally do jigsaw puzzles, typically 500 pieces and occasionally 1000 pieces. My online news app Morning Brew has a small online jigsaw puzzle once a week that I do; usually takes me 3 or 4 minutes.

When I was much younger, growing up, our family did a 1000 piece round puzzle that was completely yellow on one side and white on the other. It took us about a month to finish it.

Yeah nothing is wrong with that. For example, my mom use to wake up early in the morning when she was a kid and do jigsaw puzzles by herself at like 5 AM. This carried over into adulthood, so at times I would sit on the other side of the table and do the puzzle upside down since she was sitting on the side that was right side up. It's still the same image, there is nothing hard about processing the pattern when it's upside down.

I do them upside-down and without looking at the picture so they last longer. Once you get the hang of it, it still goes pretty quick.

For a short time when I was younger I enjoyed doing the double-sided ones. Lately the only puzzles I endure are chess puzzles.
